Multi-jet modelling (MJM) is a manufacturing process in the area of rapid prototyping.
The available CAD data are directly and rapidly translated into components, without any manual deviations or forms. The chemical process is similar to that of stereolithography: the substances involved are UV-sensitive photopolymers. Here, however, the model is built up step by step via a multi-jet print head, similar to the principle of ink-jet printing.
